Judy Murray is a former Scottish #1 tennis player with 64 National titles. In 1995 she became the first woman to pass the LTA's Performance Coach Award and became Scotland's National Coach for the next 10 years. She created a National Development School programme, which produced 4 Davis Cup and 1 Federation Cup player, including her Grand Slam winning sons, Jamie and Andy. From 2011 to 2016 she was captain of Great Britain women's tennis team in both the Federation Cup and the Olympics. She has established many grassroot initiatives aimed at making tennis more inclusive and has shared her experiences as a player, coach and mother in a memoir, Knowing the Score: My Family and Our Tennis Journey. In 2020, she interviewed 10 of Britain's most successful sportswomen for the Sky Sports docuseries Driving Force to highlight the issues and challenges that still exist for women in sport.
